Birthday’s really are the best days! My 23rd Birthday was filled with love from my friends and boyfriend, vida e caffe, prezzies, flowers, cupcakes, glitter, suprises, florals, cocktails, flamingos and I even got to meet designer Henry Holland and Pixie Geldof. So blessed and thankful to have such beauties in my life!
It’s been a little chilly here in Durbie Durbz so to keep warm, I layered my River Island leopard leggings with a Zara chunky knit and a leopard and colour blocked scarf. I must admit I’m not one to wear leggings but I’m lovin’ these leopards of mine. Hat from Forever 21, winged bag from Bershka and and cut-out ankle booties from Legit.
On Thursday night I attended the Annual DUT Fashion Show at the Fred Crookes Sports Centre. I was wearing a hot pink slip dress from Topshop, crochet covered wedges from Call It Spring and a perspex clutch from Zara.
The third year Fashion and Textile students were asked to create a seven-piece range under the theme ‘i-aesthete’. I thought the show was an incredible showcase of the young designer’s talents and passions. One of my favorite collections was Benazeer Mulla’s, Mind Control men’s range which had a cyber-punk influence and strong sense of rebellion.
